Lamborghini Huracan STO Summary

Lamborghini is all set to launch the Huracan STO in the country on 15 July, 2021. The Italian automobile manufacturer, which unveiled the model in November 2020, will introduce the race-car-inspired V10 version in India later this month.

Taking inspiration from models such as the Huracan GT3 and the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo, the new Lamborghini Huracan STO gets a revised exterior design. Up-front, the model features a single element that combines various body parts such as the bumper, fenders, and hood. The rear profile features a tweaked bumper design, the signature dual-exhaust setup, and a massive adjustable rear wing. Also on offer are three new drive modes (STO, Rain, and Trophy), a roof scoop, and Brembo CCM-R carbon-ceramic brakes.

Inside, the 2021 Lamborghini Huracan STO is loaded with carbon-fibre elements, right from the seats with the four-point seat belts to the floor mats. The model is draped in Alcantara upholstery, and further customisations are possible through the brand’s Ad Personam division. Compared to the regular Huracan it is based on, the upcoming model has 75 per-cent of its body panels made of carbon-fibre. The windscreen is 30 per-cent lighter, and the light-weight Magnesium wheels aid the weight reduction further, resulting in the model tipping the scales a full 43kgs less. The Huracan STO also produces 53 per-cent more downforce and 37 per-cent more aerodynamic efficiency compared to its predecessor.

Propelling the Lamborghini Huracan STO is the same 5.2-litre NA V10 engine that produces 640bhp and 565Nm of torque. The model is available only in the RWD format, and can sprint from 0-100kmph in just three seconds.
