Latest Update: Skoda has opened bookings for the petrol-only Rapid.
Skoda Rapid Petrol Launch and Price: The Rapid Petrol is expected to be launched by April 2020. We expect Skoda to price it between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 14 lakh.
Skoda Rapid Petrol Engine and Transmission: It will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol motor engine that will put out 115PS and 200Nm. The new Rapid TSI is likely to be offered with the choice of a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG. Skoda even plans to introduce a CNG variant at a later date.
Skoda Rapid Petrol Rivals: It will continue to rival the likes of Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and the Volkswagen Vento.
