Latest Update: Mercedes-Benz has launched the second-gen GLA in India.
Mercedes-Benz GLA Price: The compact lu NVxury SUV is priced from Rs 42.10 lakh to Rs 57.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mercedes-Benz GLA Variants: It is available in four trims: GLA 200, GLA 220d, GLA 220d 4MATIC, and GLA 35 AMG 4MATIC.
Mercedes-Benz GLA Powertrains: Mercedes-Benz has provided the entry-level SUV with three engines: a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid (165PS/250Nm), a 2.0-litre diesel (192PS/400Nm), and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (306PS/400Nm). The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol unit is reserved for the GLA 35 AMG 4MATIC variant. The engine-wise gearbox options are:
1.3-litre turbo-petrol: 7-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic)
2.0-litre diesel: 8-speed AT
2.0-litre turbo-petrol: 7-speed DCT
The three powertrains get the following drivetrains:
GLA 200: Front-wheel drive
GLA 220d: Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive
GLA 35 AMG: All-wheel drive
Mercedes-Benz GLA Features: The GLA gets connected car tech, 64-colour ambient lighting, wireless charging, a 10.25-inch touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control.
Mercedes-Benz GLA Safety: Safety features include seven airbags, electronic stability programme (ESP), and active brake assist.
Mercedes-Benz GLA Rivals: The GLA rivals the BMW X1, Volvo XC40, Mini Cooper Countryman, and the 2021 Audi Q3.
